Timeless
Big World Breaks x Owuor Arunga Atuanya Priester x Dr. Julian Priester
= Arts Education Access
All net proceeds from the “Timeless” project go to benefit the equipment and scholarship funds of the
Washington Middle School Drumline and Seattle JazzED.
Now that we have successfully raised funds through public support to record and produce the “Timeless” single featuring Owuor Arunga and Dr. Julian Priester, we have entered our second phase of fundraising to support the production of the official “Timeless” Music Video, which will be directed by Atuanya Priester. Being able to create and share this video with the world will only bring more awareness and support of the #TimelessMovement – which will directly increase arts education access for Seattle-area youth for generations to come.
Additional Big World Breaks roster artists featured in the “Timeless” single:
Guitar: Ryan Waters, Jabrille Williams (aka Jimmy James) and Daniel Rapport | Flute, Tenor Sax and Bass Clarinet: Darian Asplund

“I’ve recently become aware of the work the Timeless Movement is doing and am so happy to hear the good news. This is important. Growing up in the 50’s it seemed normal…almost taken for granted, that music and art were a part of every public school system. Everyone had a chance. This is not the case anymore. It breaks my heart to see these opportunities disintegrating. I am so lucky (blessed) to have spent my life in music. I can’t imagine where I’d be now without it. I feel strongly now more than ever how essential it is. Music is much more than entertainment. When you think of what is most basic in the practice and study of music… harmony, melody, rhythm, consonance, dissonance, patience, tension, resolution, respect, humility, love, beauty. Aren’t these the same words we could use to describe how human beings might learn to interact with each other?…to get along? Music is good! Possibility. Potential. History. The future. It gives me hope knowing the Timeless Movement is here. Thank you.” – Bill Frisell
